Brighton Part 2

Yhtenä ilta-aktiviteettina oli Photo Scavenger Hunt. Juostiin meidän Horcruxes-ryhmän kanssa ympäri Brightonin keskustaa kuvailemassa annettujen aiheiden mukaan, mutta muutama omakin kuva tuli otettua.

One night we had this activity called The Photo Scavenger Hunt which included, as you can tell by the name of it, lots of running around the city centre looking for great places to take pictures. While being super busy doing that I still managed to took some pics of my own.

Tämäkin kuva on Photo Scavenger Huntilta. Tarkoituksena oli luoda uudelleen kohtaus tunnetusta elokuvasta. Kuten ryhmämme nimi jo kertoo, olimme varsinaisia Harry Potter -faneja, joten yllä olevan kohtauksen voi tunnistaa elokuvasta Harry Potter ja Liekehtivä Pikari.

This pic is also from The Photo Scavenger Hunt. We were told to recreate a scene from a famous movie, so this is from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. You probably could've guessed that by the name of our team: Horcruxes.

Kahden viimeisen viikon ajan toisena aktiviteetti-liiderinämme toimi ihana Ben. Yllä Benfie, selfie liiderimme kanssa ft. Horcruxes.

Ben was our one of our two activity leaders for the last two weeks. Above you can see a Benfie, a selfie with Ben ft. Horcruxes.

Nämä loput kuvat ovat viimeiseltä päivältä. Koska olimme kolmen viikon aikana suorittaneet vaaditun määrän opintoja, meille pidettiin viimeisellä oppitunnilla EF:n oma valmistujaisseremonia, joka sisälsi todistuksenjaon ja nuo kuvissa esiintyvät hienot graduation-hatut. Niitä pidettiin ylpeänä päässä koko päivä. Iltapäivällä kävimme viimein Brighton Pierin huvipuistolaitteissa ja myönnän, etten ollut aiemmin ollut vuoristoradan kyydissä. Tulipahan sekin kokeiltua, vaikka selkä jäikin kipeäksi. Ehkä joskus uskallan uudestaankin. Illalla suuntasimme koko aktiviteettiporukan kanssa syömään yhdessä. Viimeinen illallinen yhdessä Pöllöjen (Owls, joka oli ryhmämme nimi) kanssa, jonka jälkeen jäimme vielä viimeistä kertaa hengailemaan rannalle ja tanssimaan EF-tanssin Alesson Heroesin tahtiin.

These last pics are from the last day. Because we had studied English for three weeks EF held a graduation ceremony for us. It included getting a diploma and also those great graduation hats which we wore proudly almost the rest of the day. In the afternoon we visited the rides on Brighton Pier and I got to go on a roller coaster for the first time in my life. Even though it did kinda hurt my back, I liked it and maybe I am just brave enough to try it again sometime. When the evening drew nearer, we headed for dinner. The last dinner as a group with the Owls (our activity group's name). After that it was time to enjoy our time on the Brighton Beach for the last time, have a little chat with everyone and dance the official EF dance while Heroes by Alesso was playing from my phone.
